Overview A critical priority for Asset & Wealth Management (WM)is to ensure that high-quality data is available to run our business and meetour clients' needs. The Asset and Wealth Management Chief Data Office (CDO) was established to define AWM's data strategy and support for the coredata used across AWM and needed to run our business. The AWM CDO is positionedin the AWM Operations division, reporting to the AWM Chief Operational Officer(COO). We work with the AWM Business & Technology teams as well as theFirmwide CDO team to deliver robust platforms and effective operating models toensure sound management of our data.
The AWMProject Manager/Data Analyst will bepart of the Party & Account workstream which is focused on e stablishinga global data strategy for client and account data - including simplified dataarchitecture, adequate data governance & controls as well as data healthmetrics. The focus of the role will be on leading datarelated projects and solving for data quality issues for Wealth Management inthe Asia Pacific region. The Project Manager/Data Analyst will work in closepartnership with Operations, Client Service, Business and technology teams inAsia to ensure region specifics are adequately represented in the broaderstrategic global data agenda. The Project Manager/Data Analyst will alsooversee the creation, modification, implementation of cl ient & account dataelements in the Systems of Record, including collaborating with the data ownersin designing the operating model and downstream systems/applications for theadoption of the golden source.
Act as key representative in APAC for WM Party & Account CDO team
Participate in various global data forums, initiatives and projects as the WM APAC CDO Party & Account lead
Provide transparency to APAC teams into broader Party & Account CDO agenda
Relay back to other regions and teams specific APAC considerations
Act as point of escalation for WM APAC teamsas it relates to Party & Account data issues & requests
Develop deep understanding of client &account data in APAC, as well as associated End to End business processes; actas SME for Client & Account data in APAC
Drive the global roadmap from APACperspective i.e. drive the adoption of golden sources, lead data and platformmigrations where required, implement data standards (i.e. data quality controls,rules, data quality framework and Data Content Ownership)
Lead and deliver on APAC specific dataenhancements and projects (e.g. new data elements), effectively managing scope,priorities, issues and resourcing requirements; laying out project plans,tasks, ownership; tracking and reporting on progress; Collaboratewith the data owners in designing the operating model as well as withdownstream systems/applications for consumption of golden source data
Manage WM APAC client & account dataquality issues - Partnering with Business, Ops and Tech teams on identifyingand pipelining issues, prioritizing, conducting root cause analysis and planningfor remediation activities
Develop key data quality metrics, KPIs and reporting
Develop key partnerships with a broad range of constituents and stakeholders across functions in APAC ; Prepare materials for stakeholder consumption and senior audiences (progress, issues, risks decision points...); Chair WM APAC CDO specific forums
5-10 years in Financial Services or Consulting in complex program and Stakeholder management
Deep knowledge of client data and related data privacy rules
