The purpose of this position is responsibility for project management services within the Pacific Southwest Area and to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Key project delivery focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the financial performance of the greater Pacific Southwest region, and includes budgeting, actual results, forecasting and reporting.
Interacts regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved. Develops and implements action plans to correct variances.
Anticipates and responds to the client's needs and concerns. Listens effectively to client and then accurately structures a solution that meets or exceeds the client's expectation that results in a positive outcome.
Manages and leads project management for the Pacific Southwest region leadership team and ensures thorough team understanding and implementation of strategy, operations, policies, and procedures. Formally supervises individual employees.
Responsible for identifying tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating direct reports and work groups.
Directly or indirectly responsible for hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation for direct reports and work group.
Develops new business growth and maintains existing business relationships. Ability to develop a strategy that will deliver sustainable growth of the PJM business. Responsible for business pursuits, integration with other CBRE business lines, and cross selling our CBRE business in the assigned geographic market, to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
Strong presentation skills that are applicable both internally and externally with respect to articulating complex issues into simple understandable solutions, can build an effective sales strategy, and mentor others in presentation skills.
Exhibits a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring corporate governance policies and procedures are adhered to within work group.
Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and company.
Participates in civic and business organizations. Conducts and maintains relationships with industry and trade associates, vendors, and professional organizations

Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports of 20 FTE's or more.
Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.
Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources.
Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention.
Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. Required experience directly managing work group or leading 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically larger, more experienced team).
A proven leader of people and business who motivates teams to effectively deliver operational and strategic targets.
Enthusiastic and confident professional with excellent strategic, people, business development and leadership skills.
Evidence of successfully leading from the front and improving multi-functional teams in a highly commercial and competitive environment.
Able to solve advanced problems and effectively deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Minimum 10 to 12 years Project Management business development, account management and operations experience.
Highly customer focused, with exceptional CRM experience.
Combination of a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Real Estate and/or operational experience. Master's degree also desirable.
Skilled communicator in large groups and one-on-one.
Strong leadership and management experience in PJM related business within the Region.
Willingness to travel a minimum of 50%; local and regional travel.
