The department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Critical Studies of Public Health. The position requires a strong research dossier in this area. All methodological approaches are welcome but the preference is for candidates with research expertise in quantitative methods and the ability to teach quantitative methods at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Knowledge of the French language is an asset. A PhD in Sociology or a related discipline is required at the time of appointment.

Qualifications Qualifications are a PhD completed before the position start date, a strong orientation to academic research and evidence of teaching effectiveness. The ability to establish partnerships with external actors and/or a program of research integrating two or more disciplines are strong assets. Excellent communication skills are required. The language of instruction at Concordia is English, however, knowledge of French is an asset.
