Millersville University is hiring a Program/Field Coordinator to manage a three year $1.35 million HRSA Opioid Workforce Development grant that was awarded to the School of Social Work and Department of Nursing. Reports directly to the Faculty HRSA Program Director, with an indirect report to the Chair of the School of Social Work.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ensuring that the grant is managed according to HRSA requirements
collaborating with Recovery Community and building the Advisory Board.
managing and coordinating at least 6 annual training events related to prevention, treatment and recovery from all addictive substances/behaviors.
expanding and strengthening HRSA internships.
recruiting MSW students who will receive $10,000 scholarship and DNP students who will receive $28,352.
providing supervision and conducting one meeting a semester with MSW students receiving the grant.
collecting longitudinal data for evaluation and reports.
People of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, persons in recovery, Spanish speakers (or a language other than English), religious minorities, permanent residents and veterans/military are encouraged to apply.
Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited program plus two years post-MSW social work experience.
Program Coordinator/Management Experience.
Evidence of a commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Knowledge/Experience in the field of Addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery.
An ability to recruit underrepresented scholarship recipients who are people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, persons in recovery, religious minorities, Spanish speakers, 2nd language speakers, and veterans/military.
Successful interview, campus presentation and three background checks: Criminal Background Check (Act 34); Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151); and FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting (Act 114).
PhD or Doctor in Social Work (DSW)
Grant management experience including report writing.
Event planning, training and teaching experience.
Knowledge/experience of increasing or strengthening internship locations, supervision of interns.
Program Evaluation, data collection and analysis.
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Licensed Clinical Drug & Alcohol Counselor (LCDAC)/Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor (CDAC)/or similar Addiction related certification/licensure.
Fluent in Spanish.
