Regional IT Support (Middletown Campus): Systems Administrator I to provide support for campus servers; manage server environment (physical and virtual); running a variety of operating systems including print, file, web, license and applications; manage Active directory structure and group policies; troubleshoot, install, update and manage network printers; build, update, troubleshoot and maintain classroom computer images which includes more than 50 applications; troubleshoot faculty, staff and student computers (tier 3 technical support); troubleshoot classroom technology issues; password resets for faculty, staff and students including MUnet and Oracle.
Require: Associate’s degree or vocational or technical school degree in Technology or related field; one-year experience in technology field (experience and education may be gained concurrently); an understanding of network concepts, operating system and network software, computer integration, network security, computer search engines, other network related equipment; ability to communicate. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
Desire: Bachelor’s Degree in technology or related field; Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
