The Contracts Co-Op at Collins Aerospace offers participants to gain exciting real world work experience within the Contracts function. Participants will be provided with varying exciting and challenging work assignments, training, shadowing and mentoring.. At the end of the Co-Op, eligible participants may interview which may result in a full-time position.
Work Scope includes supporting the Contracts team with:
-Supporting the execution of contracts with various customers, which may include the US Government, Commercial Customers, International Customers, and other US Government Contractors
-Proposal preparation, fact finding, and contract negotiations
-Completing contract closeout
-Administering contract changes in SAP
-Supporting and maintaining contractual records, proposal logs and reporting
-Assisting Government audit activities
-Composing customer communications via email and/or formal letters
-Establishing knowledge with Government (FAR/DFAR) and commercial contract language
-Preparing contractual agreements such as: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Bailment Agreements, Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs), etc.
-Fulfilling applicable training
-Completing special projects, as required
-Business Administration or Liberal Arts Major
-Minimum GPA of 3.0
-Long term interest in a career in Business with a concentration in Contracts
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Highly motivated with a desire to learn
-US Citizenship required
