Regulatory Pharmaceutical Fellowship - Medication Safety

The Medication Safety Fellowship is a two-year, learning-based program designed to train pharmacists for careers in government, the pharmaceutical industry, and academia. Two positons are available for the 2020-2022 cycle. One fellow will transition between Purdue University College of Pharmacy and Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Pharmacovigilance and Global Patient Safety department at Eli Lilly and Company, and the Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The second fellow will transition between Purdue University College of Pharmacy and Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety at AbbVie, and the Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology at FDA. Both fellows will have various educational experiences in cross-functional departments and have the opportunity to publish articles, present at local and national meetings, and work on projects relating to medication safety in a variety of exciting professional settings. Interested applicants must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, or otherwise eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana, prior to the start of the fellowship year. |
