In addition, UW Medicine shares in the ownership and governance of Children's University Medical Group and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance a partnership among UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research, and Seattle Children's.This position will function as Administrative Assistant 2 to the Director of Revenue Integrity and provide administrative support to the UW Medicine Revenue Integrity Department. Under general supervision of the Director, the Administrative Assistant 2 will:*Provide confidential support and seek to understand needs and expectations while using available resources and policies.*Create and maintain meeting schedules and travel itineraries, for Director, Manager, 9 RIS specialists and analysts. *Assist Director, Manager, and Specialist in the distribution of materials required in advance of each committee, taskforce, or project meeting. *Perform Time Keeper functions for department and attend related meetings as necessary;*Establish and maintain records and files, record statistical information;*Prepare narrative and/or statistical reports regarding program operations;*Perform word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, integrating text with graphics, spreadsheet and data base files, uploading and downloading and creating footnotes and outlines;*Use spreadsheet and data base software to develop and maintain records;*Use basic statistical software packages and simple computer inquiry programming;*Use graphics software and make recommendations regarding appropriate display of graphic information;*Orders, receives, and maintains department inventory;*May use desk top publishing software;*Perform related duties as required. REQUIREMENTS:Requires High School/ GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.DESIRED:Effective communication skills; organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to use web and other research tools; ability to meet deadlines; and demonstrated attention to detail. Ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently while balancing multiple responsibilities.Familiarity with the policies and procedures associated with various UW Medicine programs would be a plus.Demonstrated competence in Microsoft(r) Excel, Visio, Access, Word, and MS Project.
