The Rehab Admission Coordinator (RAC) is a specialty clinical position used exclusively in Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF), which are governed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The RAC reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services for assigned facilities IRFs.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
2 years experience in rehabilitation or other post-acute environment
Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN), or Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy, or Masters Degree in Speech Therapy with Certificate of Clinical Competence
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred
Masters/Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, preferred. Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, preferred
Current Colorado RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact OR Current Colorado state licensure in Physical Therapy, or Current Colorado state licensure in Occupational Therapy and registered Occupational Therapist or Certificate in Competence from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Certified in Rehabilitation (CRRN), preferred
Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

St. Francis Medical Center features 172-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Care Unit, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. ItA also serves as southern Coloradoas home base for the Flight For LifeA(r) Colorado air medical helicopter service.
