Under the supervision of the Director of Community and Extension Programs / Enrollment Services or designee, the Coordinator – Non-Credit Enrollment Services is responsible for coordinating activities and office operations for Continuing Education's non-credit enrollment services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate activities and office operations for Continuing Education's non-credit enrollment services. Operations include but are not limited to student registration, course approval, course catalogue, course outlines, room schedules, adjunct assignments, and the allocation and management of training space for non-credit programming. 2.Coordinate the development, maintenance and reporting of the Continuing Education non-credit enrollment system. Serve as liaison to Information Technology for continued development and maintenance of the system. 3.Serve as lead staff trainer on policies and procedures governing the non-credit enrollment service operations. Liaise with program directors, coordinators and support staff to ensure non-credit policies are followed in the completion of reports, documents, forms and other related materials. 4.Respond to inquiries and requests for information on non-credit enrollment and course offerings from the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education and other institutions, as directed. Respond to annual audit requests for non-credit documents and data. 5.Serve as liaison to the Non-Credit Curriculum Committee. 6.Coordinate and maintain a centralized Continuing Education Units (CEU) preparation mailing process. 7.Coordinate the preparation and mailing of the Continuing Education brochure (semiannually) and other departmental materials. 8.Assist with planning the agenda for the monthly Non-Credit Committee Meetings and with preparing the annual non-credit activity calendar. 9.Maintain an accurate and orderly system for gathering and recording information related to the non-credit enrollment service operation. Maintain centralized records for course approvals, state approvals, Community and Continuing Education (CCE) awards, course outlines, registration/enrollment, and other related documents. 10.Maintain strict confidentiality and security of staff, student, and client records. 11.Prepare routine, special, and ancillary reports as required. 12.Perform other related duties as required.
1.Bachelor's degree. 2.Demonstrated knowledge of computers and related software applications. 3.Recent, relevant experience working with student records, registration, enrollment and/or database management in an educational setting. 4.Demonstrated ability to provide direction and guidance with a strong attention to detail in the completion and proof-reading of documents, reports and related materials. 5.Excellent organizational and self-management skills. 6.Excellent interpersonal skills. 7.Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. 8.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree
1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Database Management or related area. 2.Experience working in college registration and/or admissions office. 3.Experience managing an extensive non-credit registration system and for providing training to system support staff. 4.Experience in preparing proposals or documents required to obtain state agency approval of courses and programs.
