This post-doctoral research associate position will mostly work on a government-funded research project on the fabrication, characterization, and modeling of polymeric materials exhibiting voltage-dependent variable conductance and memory. The candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting materials-focused experiments across multiple length scales, collecting and analyzing data, creating mathematical models of current-voltage relationships, and communicating these results effectively to the project team, to the funding agency, and to outside researchers and collaborators.
Responsibilities and Duties will include:
Designing and conducting materials-related experiments, and collecting and analyzing data Meeting deadlines and preparing/presenting/reporting research results effectively. Communicating effectively orally and in writing as demonstrated through monthly and quarterly reports, preparation of peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national meetings. Supporting the PI's research proposal development. Mentoring/supervising graduate and/or undergraduate students who will also work on the project Supporting ongoing research collaborations with researchers in academia and national labs, and developing new connections
