This is a temporary term position from February1-June 30, 2020 as a member of the HIO advising team who will perform a variety of tasks related to both international students and scholars. Will provide immigration advising to international students and scholars on non-immigrant visas and perform other duties as assigned. The individual may be appointed both Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). The International Office handles immigration and related matters at Harvard for approximately 4,000 international students and 4,000 international scholars. The International Office is a busy, congenial and professional working environment. Salary Grade: 056 Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary

Must be US citizen or legal US permanent resident Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively with people from other cultures and to work collaboratively with HIO colleagues. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands effectively. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on government regulations and university policies.
