Saint Louis University is seeking applicants for a full-time, research Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Applicants must have successfully completed post-graduate education with laboratory research experience. PhD or MD or equivalent with basic science research experience is also required. Previous focus on liver research, cell/molecular biology, signaling involving the liver preferred. Specialization of techniques related to protein and nucleic acid chemistry, electrophoresis, tissue culture and animal research is required. Ideal applicants will have added specialty or interest in issues related to intracellular protein processing and liver physiology. Primary duties will include performing scientific experiments in a research laboratory under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Teckman.
