| Department: History Classification: Faculty Job Summary: Middle East and/or African History. Skidmore College's Department of History invites applications for a full-time, one-year faculty position in the history of the Middle East and/or Africa for academic year 2020-2021. Sub-field and time-frame are open. Three-three course teaching load. The successful candidate will be able to offer survey and upper-division undergraduate classes in area of expertise. Preference will be given to those candidates who provide evidence of effective teaching. PhD preferred, but qualified ABDs will be considered.
