UMKC School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Surgery & Hospital Dental
The University of Missouri-Kansas City seeks a full time, tenured/tenure track, 100% benefit eligible faculty, at the Assistant/ Associate Professor level in the Oral Surgery and Hospital Dentistry Department. This department is responsible for post-doctoral and pre-doctoral education, and patient care in Oral Surgery. Specific responsibilities will concentrate on pre-doctoral didactic education and clinical teaching in the OMS clinic with opportunities for clinical practice for the qualified candidate.
Candidates eligible for tenure/tenure track status will be responsible for service and research in oral surgery and hospital dentistry.
Rank and tenure status will be based on experience and credentials.
Candidates must have a DMD/DDS, or dual degree DDS/DMD and MD degree, and completed an Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency program from a CoDA accredited program.
Perspective applicant should be a board candidate or board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Candidates must be eligible for Missouri licensure in dentistry.
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
