UChicago Offers a Fellowship Training Opportunity in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics Research Fellowship Position at UChicago Medicine – At the Forefront The University of Chicago Medicine Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics is seeking motivated trainees for our NIH/NIGMS/NICHD funded Clinical Therapeutics training program. Successful applicants would have the opportunity to work in research, adult and/or pediatric, areas of clinical pharmacology, clinical implementation, personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics, clinical trial design, drug development and genetics of drug abuse.
Our two-year American Board of Clinical Pharmacology (ABCP) accredited program is a multidisciplinary, comprehensive and collaborative initiative that emphasizes individual creativity in the context of an encouraging environment. Trainees will have the opportunity to tailor their work to emphasize clinical, translational or basic science research with significant protected time devoted to their research efforts along with a core curriculum, clinical activities and required rotations. After successful completion, trainees are eligible to take an accreditation exam in Applied Pharmacology from ABCP.
