Office of the Provost/Center for Analytics and Data Science: Assistant Director: The Center for Analytics and Data Science (CADS) is a university-wide initiative, providing an innovative environment where students, faculty and external partners can embrace the application of analytics and data science; engage in research that transforms the practice of analytics and data science; receive support in developing their analytical skills; and find opportunities to elevate their understanding through research, coursework, collaboration and experiential learning. The Assistant Director of CADS will have a range of responsibilities related to the advancement and growth of the Center including guiding students through experiential projects, hosting events, fostering relationships with external partners, and supporting faculty in developing a collaborative environment to foster research and pedagogy. Require: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field related to analytics or data science or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of work experience related to analytics or data science; outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to adapt within an entrepreneurial start-up environment; high level of initiative and willingness to work independently; willingness to work outside of normal business hours if required; occasional travel may be required. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship. Desire: Experience building data science and analytic training curriculum and working with open source programming languages.
