The Stephenson Cancer Center (SCC) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) invites applications for faculty positions. Rank and tenure eligibility to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The SCC is Oklahoma’s only academic cancer center. With a well-developed infrastructure and over 250 members from the University of Oklahoma (OUHSC, OU Norman, and OU Tulsa) and the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, the SCC places a high priority on conducting high-quality transdisciplinary and translational team-based science. We are currently looking to fill a Faculty level position that will serve as our Oncology Pharmacy Program Director.
The selected candidate will provide direct supervision of comprehensive pharmacy services within oncology operational areas. Responsible for all operational aspects of pharmacy services. Develop policies, procedures, and goals in alignment with Service Line goals; acts as a liaison between physicians, nursing, pharmacy staff, and administration. Ensures compliances with all federal and state rules and regulations governing pharmacy services. In this role a candidates responsibilities would include but not limited to:
The SCC is an NCI Designated Cancer Center and a Lead Academic Participating Site in the NCI-NCTN and has a large clinical trials program with a rapidly expanding early-phase clinical trials program.

Applicants must possess a Doctorate degree (Pharm. D.) in Pharmacy; BCOP certification required, and completion of accredited PGY2 in oncology preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in an oncology pharmacy program is preferred; 5 years of which served in a progressive pharmacy management position in an academic medical center preferred. After accepting the position candidate must become a licensed Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy. |
