A ROLE YOUWILL LOVE
The Senior Business Continuity & Risk Manager is asenior position within the Computershare Global Information Security andRisk Group reporting to the Regional Head of Risk. The role is responsible forsupporting the development, implementation and monitoring of operationalrisk across the respective region to identify, assess and mitigate anyoperational risk that arises from inadequate or failed processes, people,systems or external events, whilst maintaining a balance between riskmitigation and efficiency. The role will support the Global InformationSecurity and Risk Group to deliver a consistent, best-in-class service toits global customer base.
The primary purpose of the role isto lead oversight and monitoring of all respective region activities thathave the potential to impact the risk profile. The Senior Operational RiskConsultant will drive the identification, measurement, monitoring and controllingof all risks to ensure that Computershares exposure is within theestablished limits. Education and Experience
At least 10 years experience assessing and supporting the mitigation strategies across all risk types in a management capacity. ORM Certification is an asset.
At least 3 years experience in Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency (BIAs, BC plans, disaster recovery, recovery strategy, exercises, incident management, monitoring and reporting). BCM Certification is an asset.
A successful track record as a risk manager with good knowledge of the operational and regulatory complexities impacting the business from a strategic, operational and change management perspectives.
A broad understanding across enterprise risk, operational risk, financial risk and IT risk.
Gravitas and the capability to provide constructive challenge to the business and ensure risks are addressed appropriately.
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills including the ability to research and understand complex processes and effectively communicate them to senior management.
Demonstrated ability to perform process analysis, process mapping and experience in designing controls.
Experience in leading and delivering risk assessments, stress testing and scenario analysis.
Experience in coordinating Disaster Recovery Tests and Business Continuity exercises.
Good stakeholder and relationship management skills.
Personal integrity, the ability to lead a small team (project basis) and take leadership of specific tasks and activities.
Self-starter with the ability to deliver under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with multiple areas and complex business lines.
Abilityto read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; writesimple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/smallgroup situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Abilityto add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of Americanmoney and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

To contribute to the development, implementation and management of the Global Risk
Framework, risk appetite, policies, procedures and management information requirements covering market, credit and operational risk.
To drive a proactive risk culture across the respective region that is infused across the entire organisation
To drive provision and maintenance of an accurate and reliable risk profile for the respective region, partnering with the Business areas to ensure identification of critical business processes, and to ensure that all key risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and reported in a timely fashion. To ensure theming can be undertaken to highlight and drive prioritization of systemic issues both regionally and globally
The definition and management of controls and processes and implementation of an internal controls
To undertake independent assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of the respective regions management of its risks, controls and processes
To contribute to the effective governance of the respective region. He/she will take an active role in regional risk committees, offering constructive challenge and helping to support the Committee fulfil its role and responsibilities. Will facilitate and encourage informed and constructive debate and challenge on key risk issues and ensure that management information is provided in an accurate, timely and clear manner, ensuring all activity is undertaken against a background of the agreed risk appetite
To lead, drive and embed best practice and pragmatic risk/control management across the respective regions organisation, demonstrating an understanding of the control weaknesses across the respective region, driving remedial action plans to improve business and move towards the agreed risk appetite position.
To alert the respective regions Senior management including the Global Head of Risk immediately of any significant changes to the Operational risk environment, deteriorating exposures and counterparties and evidence of emerging risks
Manage the engagement with Internal/External Audit, ensuring consistency of learning and remedial actions. Drive timely resolution of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external auditors
Ensure reliable data is produced and that measurement/modelling of risks are refined to facilitate more complete analysis/evaluation of risk scenarios
Proactively manage, develop and maintain intra group relationships across the Three Lines of Defense to optimize results in areas of common interest
To conduct internal and external risk assessments, using standardized methodologies, against Computershare information and business assets including third party suppliers; and providing recommendations in accordance with corporate policies, standards and controls
To manage and respond to information security, BCP and risk-related enquiries from Computershare clients and regulators
