Reporting to the Associate Provost, the Academic Labor Relations Specialist works closely with the offices of General Counsel, Human Resources & Institutional Research in administration and interpretation of the Barnard Contingent Faculty collective bargaining agreement [CBA]. This position may participate in collective bargaining and impact bargaining with the BCF Union; prepare research and analyses and provide guidance in the interpretation of the CBA and College policies and procedures. Additional duties include, in consultation with OGC, the resolution of grievances pertaining to the BCF appointments, employee concerns, and potential disciplinary matters, and responding to information requests.

Required Qualification Summary:
Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google suite of applications
