Position Summary: This is the sole University employee in the Military Science (Army ROTC) Department. The position administratively supports the Department, administers budget funds, and actively monitors the academic progress of cadets. The employee enters course information within Courseleaf, assists with registration of students, reserves spaces on campus for department events, drafts correspondence and other documents, and works with the web coordinator to maintain the Department's university website. The position provides backup for the Army-employed Human Resource Assistant, and assists in completing and maintaining cadet and cadre personnel records.
Two years related work experience in administrative support. Experience in office support functions including word processing; filing; composing a variety of business documents; and reception. Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures to develop, organize, and implement administrative projects and processes.
