Teaching assignment will include instruction in related diagnostic medical sonography lectures and laboratories at the associate level. Provide necessary documentation to include outcomes assessment.
The department director will be responsible for the coordination and completion of program accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
Additional duties with the Allied Health department will include student recruitment, student orientation and advisement, curriculum/course development, liaison to the external curriculum advisory committee and clinical sites, and various college/department service.
Applied research and grant writing opportunities are also available and encouraged.
Two years of practical experience in diagnostic medical sonography..
Experience in teaching as an instructor.
Experience in curriculum development, faculty selection, and program evaluation.
Possession of the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographyï¿½ (ARDMSï¿½) credentials specific to a minimum of one of the concentration(s) offered.
