The purpose of this position is to provide the research, data mining/analysis, reporting and interpretation of global, national, regional, local and/or account performance metrics. The role provides routine day-to-day operations and administrative support for a business unit. It is responsible for preparing and coordination of global governance and reporting, process improvement, controls for specialized software and other functions enabling the unit to meet business objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiles a variety of operating, financial and statistical information as needed to respond to management requests. Coordinates work with other departments. May add commentary to complete analysis reports and proposals. Generates, reviews and understands reports. Uses aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete analysis, improvement and/or recommendation.
Facilitates the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics. Reviews the accuracy of information provided and responds to requests from management.
Reviews and monitors department processes and procedures to identify opportunities to improve service delivery to internal and external customers. May network with external contacts to research and recommend best practices. Assists in systems administration for specialized software utilized by the business group to support its operations. Researches and resolves routine support issues. Follows-up to ensure open issues are resolved. Assists in preparing user reference material.
Troubleshoots and resolves simple inquiries and requests from internal and external clients.
Researches and collects input from multiple internal and external resources.
Assists in communication of best practices, policies, procedures and initiatives to support operations. Helps to facilitate process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution. Understands and works with scenario planning (exit/maintain/grow) tools/models. Analyzes trends in general business conditions. Identifies opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies.
Coordinate involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
Other duties and administrative tasks may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Formal training in tableau and/or business analytics preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate experience in Tableau, SmartSheets, SharePoint and MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc). Heavy emphasis on Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to use query and report generation tools. Knowledge of CMMS systems preferred.
