Assistant Professor – Tenure-Track Computer Science Department of Computer Science
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, computer information systems, and cybersecurity
Support the growing Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Cybersecurity Programs
Participate in course and curriculum development
Establish a productive research program involving undergraduate and graduate students
Advise students and provide service to the department, college, and University
Ph.D. in computer science, computer information systems, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a directly related field (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university).
Experience teaching at the college or university level or as a graduate assistant, instructor or above, or relevant industrial experience
Potential for excellent teaching of courses in computer science, computer information systems, or cybersecurity, at both undergraduate and graduate levels
Demonstrated breadth of understanding of the current state of the computing field
Potential for establishing an active research program
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multicultural populations, as well as an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities
