The University of Kentucky College of Social Work (CoSW), which offers the BASW, MSW and Ph.D. degrees, invites applications for a 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor position to coordinate the Online MSW Field Program. The terms of appointment and re-appointment for this position are governed by the University of Kentucky Administrative Regulations (AR 2:1)
Candidates must have an MSW/MSSW and two-years post-graduate practice experience with a doctoral degree (PhD, DSW) required. Experience teaching a wide-array of social work courses at multiple levels and formats, to include online instruction, is preferred as well. This position is located in Lexington, Kentucky.
Overarching duties of this position include: 1) oversight and coordination of the Online MSW Field Program; 2) development and delivery of curriculum in the MSW program; 3) recruitment, procurement, and enrollment of practicum sites; 4) conduct student field advising and assistance with practicum placement; 5) collaborate with the Field and MSW program directors and associate dean to engage in CoSW curriculum, program and admissions activities.
