Printing & Copy Services at Iowa State University is accepting qualified applicants for a motor vehicle operator. Under direct supervision or within specified operating procedures, this position operates a motorvehicle to transport printed materials as dispatched. Responsibilities of the position include loading, securing, and unloading cargo; light vehicle servicing; and performing laborer work when not driving.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds; communicate effectively; operate moving equipment, such as pallet movers and forklifts; and safely operate and ensure proper maintenance of vehicles. The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of proper cargo loading and securing techniques; rules and regulations of governing the operation of state vehicles; and motor vehicle laws.
