Establish and cultivate relationships with targeted employers and organizations through digital communication, site visits, lunches, association meetings, conferences, career fairs, etc. Develop ongoing strategies to bring greater visibility of the college to relevant employers and industries. The purposes of these relationships are to:
Create greater visibility of the college and its students within relevant professional communities.
Grow the number of full-time, co-op, and internship opportunities advertised to the university's students.
Grow the number of on-campus interviews and information sessions conducted at the university.
Work with employers to develop marketing strategies for enhancement of employer presence on campus, which includes, but not limited to: campus recruitment, job postings, internships, career fairs, class/organization presentations, and resume searches.
Plans, organizes, promotes, and evaluates employer visits and interview schedules.
Develops and maintains relationships and regular communications with employers (local, state, and nation-wide) to ensure repeat recruiting visits designed to provide internship, co-op, and full-time professional opportunities for our students and alumni.
Represents the university at recruitment events held on and off campus to educate employers on the university's academic programs. Provides university program and salary offer information to employers.
Collaborates with multiple university college/faculty representatives and student organizations to ensure employer visits meet employer, faculty, and student needs.
Assists the director with current and potential corporate donors to ensure financial support.
Participate in career development programs coordinated by career services, including, but not limited to, workshops, employer seminars, meetings within and outside of career services, and other special projects.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Experience in marketing and customer service
Experience with Handshake Career Management System
Experience with social media engagement management
Experience with college recruiting, from a higher education or a business perspective.
A dynamic, professional demeanor with exceptional organization, written, and public speaking skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Ability to multitask. Exceptional time management skills.
Exhibit a motivated/enthusiastic work style.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work nontraditional work hours including evenings or weekends, rarely, during peak seasons.
