Reporting to the President, this position is responsible for the overall functions of Somerset Community College's enrollment management efforts. SCC has six physical sites located at Somerset and London (campuses) and McCreary, Russell, Casey, and Clinton counties (centers) as well as online classes and programs. The Director of Enrollment Management will provide leadership to the college and community through participation in a shared governance model and will promote an overall environment for student success.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the central point of contact and provide leadership and direction for institutional enrollment management.
Coordinate closely with the President, Senior Vice President (VP) for Academic Affairs, VP for Student Affairs, VP for Institutional Effectiveness, and VP for Advancement on all matters related to enrollment management at SCC.
Advise the Executive Council on all matters related to enrollment management.
Actively participate in KCTCS enrollment management initiatives.
Directly control recruitment efforts and supervise recruitment staff.
Direct certain marketing efforts for enrollment management.
Plan and manage a budget for enrollment management.
Represent the college in community and professional functions.
Participate in continuing professional development.
Collaborate on all of the college's strategic planning efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or related field and two years of related experience, or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or related field and four years of related experience (no equivalence, must have degree). Experience in higher education enrollment management at institutional level. Ability to demonstrate experience with and understanding of enrollment related data.
