The Office of Student Life, Student Health Services Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) directs and coordinates all revenue cycle operations and departments (Patient Registration, Revenue Integrity, Patient Accounts & Reimbursement teams, and Managed Care Contracting and Reimbursement) to ensure efficacy and efficiency of revenue cycles operational results that directly impact the overall performance of the organization.
The RCM must have detailed and high-level knowledge of revenue cycle and third-party payer operating procedures, experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ancillary systems (clinical and non-clinical), including interfaces. Complies with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures, as well as required updates for SLSHS financial operations; collaborates with other SLSHS administrative and clinical staff to execute strategic plans, implements and evaluates operational programs, processes and initiatives pertaining to operations that result in charge capture, reimbursement and financial performance, as well as enhancing customer service.

Bachelor's degree in health information management & systems, health sciences or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience; five years of revenue cycle experience and complete understanding of revenue cycle within a physician practice or ambulatory care facility, including insurance operating procedures, compliance, regulation and billing requirements, government reimbursement programs, coding, charge capture, pricing, managed care contracting; knowledge of medical terminology and overall revenue cycle operations; two years previous supervisory experience; proven ability to provide outstanding customer service; excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal); proficient with Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records; ability to complete complex analyses requiring critical and analytical thinking, summarizing results in a presentation format.
Master's degree in health administration or business highly; experience with PyraMed or other medical billing systems and Student Information System (SIS); working knowledge of University policies and procedures.
Target Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
