Job Description The Assistant Dean will serve the mission of the Office of Career Development and Student Services to educate and empower law students in their job searches and in their career and professional development. The Assistant Dean will develop relationships with employers, students and alumni and represent the law school to external constituencies, including the legal community and the public. The Assistant Dean is responsible for the overall administration and organization of the office. The Assistant Dean must stay apprised of legal career trends and the evolving job market and develop new career and professional development initiatives. The Assistant Dean will also develop office policies and procedures. The Assistant Dean reports directly to the Dean of the School of Law. Position Details Specific areas of responsibility include employer and alumni outreach, student and alumni counseling and advising, career and professional development program planning and development, recruitment, student communications, operations management and oversight of the law school's pro bono program, externship program, career and professional development program and student organizations.
