Leads regional business development, funnel/pipeline management, demand and opportunity generation, and client based strategic road mapping for Rockwell Automation offerings focused on networking, security, remote monitoring, application support and virtualization hardware and services.
Acts as the subject matter expert for products, technologies, and emerging solutions centered on Networking, Security and Virtualization to differentiate, develop, lead and close opportunities across all vertical industries within the assigned region (e.g. Oil and Gas, Mining, Life Sciences, Heavy Industries, Food and Beverage, Chemical)
Communicates & collaborates with the Rockwell Automation Product Business Units and Global Sales teams and key strategic partners in order to disseminate the Consulting strategy and align company product road maps with sales and marketing strategies & tactics.
Drives accelerated growth results through the development of collateral and participation with the sales force in following the Disciplined Sales Process to identify and meet growth requirements.
Develops territory sales, distributor and customer competency through conducting regular learning sessions.
Participates in/coordinates Rockwell-lead and co-marketed network seminars and trade shows.
Collects, analyzes and communicates market data including competitive information, trends, key wins/losses and service development needs to the Business Unit product management teams.
Works with technical service engineers to develop the Scope of Supply and Bill of Materials for proposals.
Achieves assigned targets in terms of business revenue and management objectives.
Ensures through familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).
