Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Yi Gu, the Spatial Navigation and Memory Unit at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). The Gu laboratory aims to investigate the neural basis of spatial navigation and memory, with the ultimate goal to uncover the fundamental principle of spatial cognition and the cause of related neurological disorders. Projects in the laboratory mainly use mice as model animals and integrate multifaceted approaches, such as in vivo two-photon imaging, virtual reality behavioral paradigm, computational data analysis, and theoretical modeling.
