What you will be doing:
Apply solution selling techniques as you develop relationships; responding promptly to all leads and inquiries to build and grow an ongoing pipeline of opportunities
Leverage research and all resources to build knowledge of the market, your prospects, and to develop a strategy for winning sales!
Maintain ongoing awareness and knowledge of industry, government, and regulatory trends, as well as relevant technical developments
Maintain consistent competency of Innovative's product offerings and updates
Continuously communication with management regarding opportunities, challenges, industry and competitor news, and overall account status
Provide feedback to marketing to assist development of effective and up-to date sales presentations and materials
Proactively seek management/team assistance throughout the sales cycle to meet customer needs and drive high-level customer satisfaction
Work cooperatively with various internal teams including support, delivery, product development, and account management
Build and grow relationships with Innovative's strategic partners (as needed)
Regularly utilize sales tools (salesforce.com) to track and manage the sales cycle
Participate in effective sales forecasting and planning
Facilitate contractual negotiations and closure with clients
Maintain integrity in dealing with internal teams, clients, and partners
The qualifications and skills you need:
Prior experience in solutions selling or similar sales techniques
Prior experience in FinTech, data management, risk and compliance solutions
Knowledgeable in regulatory risk and compliance, AML, KYC, PEPs, etc.
Understanding of the competitive landscape within North America in the Fintech, banking, and / or insurance industries
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for sales success
Proven record of superior customer satisfaction
Highly motivated self-starter with strong commitment to follow through
Demonstrated strength in problem assessment
Results-oriented, resourceful, with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
Proven record of achieving or exceeding goals
Proven effective team player / collaborator
Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate technical concepts
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15 - 50%
It’s a plus if you have:
University degree or equivalent
Prior successful experience in software or related industry
Successful track record selling into banking, insurance, healthcare or similar verticals.
Working knowledge of regulatory risk and compliance issues, regulations, and impacts
Working knowledge of data analytics, data quality, data integration, Business Intelligence (BI), or similar technologies
Fluency with other languages
