This Field Recruiter will be a subject matter expert on sourcing and talent acquisition. This role will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment function, from consulting with hiring managers and determining current and future talent needs, to making offers of employment, and everything in between. We are looking for a professional that can handle a large volume across a variety of clients.Â This means they need to be up to speed on multiple markets and occupations.Â They need to be willing to work closely with the HR partner to ensure the sourcing/hiring strategies are integrated with the workforce development and inclusion plans of each department.Â We recruit for everything from museums and gyms, to IT service center representatives, academic program directors and start-up/tech analysts. The Must Haves:
Bachelorâs degree in Business, or other related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience.
Proven track record of building phenomenal relationships with superior customer service.
Demonstrated success recruiting the best talent and handling full-cycle recruitment without the use of staffing agencies.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
Act with a sense of urgency.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Ability to travel to all university locations.
Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience in a Higher Ed environment
Experience using Workday.
What Youâll Need to Accomplish:
Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and HR Partners to understand current and future talent needs.
Manage entire recruiting process to ensure top candidates are sourced and motivated to join the university.
Develop effective sourcing strategies to build pipelines for top tier talent and attract passive candidates. Partner with all levels of the organization (e.g., Supervisors, Managers, Directors) to assess staffing needs and fill positions in a timely manner.
Screen resumes for core competencies and technical skill set.
Work closely with hiring managers to create or refine job descriptions and identify target candidates.
Write, edit, and update job announcements/advertisements.
Source and qualify internal and external candidates to fill open positions in a timely manner and ensure a diverse, qualified candidate pool.
Coordinate and schedule candidate interview appointments.Â Conduct interviews with job candidates using phone, in-person, and web-based interview methods in order to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate.
Identify and recommend candidates for final interviews.
Mange the pre-employment process steps for job candidates.
Utilize the applicant tracking system to document all recruitment activity.
Conduct professional reference checks and forward to appropriate parties; utilize the human resources information system to submit candidates for approval.
Extend offers of employment to candidates who have been approved and complete the hire process using the human resources information system.
Provide superior customer service to candidates and internal and external customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise and professional.
Provide professional guidance on recruiting processes and strategies and proactively define best-practice recruiting approaches.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 3 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: Directly related human resource experience providing thorough knowledge of laws governing human resource and policies and procedures. Knowledge of human resource theories, principles and practices. Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination and execution.
