Provide education, outreach, prevention, and case management to improve health and well-being of immigrants, refugees, and other under served populations. Play an integral role in ensuring that the immigrant and refugee communities maintain quality of life.
Oversee and manage all aspects of AHS Community Health department – a major focus of which is HIV programming
Provides supervision, mentor-ship and coaching to the Community Health team
Actively participate in program related activities.
Lead program staff and planning meetings.
Works closely with other program supervisors to help ensure clients receive wrap-around support services (behavioral health & workforce development) as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
In conjunction with the Program Director, coordinate and write program related grants
Provide oversight of program data management.
Perform program administrative duties, including billing, reporting and quality assurance.
Work closely with funders to ensure funder requirements are met on a timely basis and ensure scope(s) of work are met satisfactorily.
Comply with HIPAA & AIDS Confidentiality Act to ensure confidentiality of clients’ medical records and protected health information.
Attend requisite training and conferences to ensure adherence to current guidelines, best practices and compliance requirements.
Serve as lead regarding program related policy, procedure updates and program development.
Attend required program and professional trainings, meetings, and forums.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor's degree in health and/or social sciences related field, required. Master's preferred
2+ years of supervisory experience
3+ years of experience with HIV specific services
Experience in HIV Division of Rehabilitation Services Program preferred
Bilingual highly preferred
Posses a valid driver's license, own a vehicle, and maintain bodily injury/liability insurance
Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with clients and staff
Self-motivated and accountable
Highly organized and the able to meet strict deadlines
Creative approach to problem solving
Demonstrated leadership skills
Understanding of trauma-informed care
Tech savvy; proficiency with MS Office
Basic end-user level understanding and experience with Salesforce is a plus
