The OHSU Research Integrity Office (ORIO) is charged with protecting and assuring compliance under the laws that govern the rights and welfare of human and animal subjects, and the oversight of basic and applied scientific research at OHSU.
Provide support to the Research Integrity Department and in providing such support is exposed to sensitive and confidential information (includes policy violations, compliance issues, investigations, audits, grievances, and matters that impact business decisions that hold a high degree of organizational risk).
This position will primarily work in the Institutional Review Board (IRB).The IRB oversees/manages the ethical and regulatory review and oversight of research projects involving human subjects.Projects and/or responsibilities in other Research Integrity program areas may also be assigned. The Integrity Analyst provides basic support to the department by understanding and accurately applying policies and procedures to a variety of responsibilities, including:
Incoming questions and issues;
Review of submissions and transactions for completeness and basic compliance;
Creating metrics and data analysis;
Writing and updating policies, procedures, and other reports and documents;
Preparing training materials and providing training; and
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree, plus3 years of experience administering or coordinating parts or subsets of a project or program.
Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information and projects.
Ability to handle a variety of inquiries coming into the Research Integrity department via phone and email. Must be able to manage inquiries related to regulatory compliance.
Advanced MS Office skills including creation of advanced templates, charts, graphs, tables, and forms for executive review.
Ability to learn and understand a variety of software applications and data analytic procedures to support the research integrity programs.
Experience creating executive-level reports.
Project/program coordination within a research setting
Experience with billing/accounts receivable
Experience with Drupal or other web content management platform
Experience with supporting complex software programs in an academic medical center
