Information Technology - Media Services is seeking an individual to join our production team in delivering live two-way distance classes and producing other videography and media services.
Successful candidates will have proven records of success in project management, distance learning and operational management of technically complex services.
This position will join the team of Information Technology and work in close collaboration with academic departments, enrollment management and other campus partners involved in advancing the academic mission of the university.
Position is responsible for:
The planning and capture of distance education-oriented video classroom productions as well as all media production services of IT Media Services. The primary duty of this position is the video production of distance courses. Ancillary duties and projects could include, photography, audio production, website design, advanced technical support, scheduling, graphic design, and media management.
Troubleshooting production problems with faculty, staff, and distance students.
Communicating with faculty and distance students to explain complex systems in clear and concise ways while providing excellent customer service.
Work shifts are scheduled to cover hours of operation between 7:00am-10:00pm Monday-Thursday, and 7:00am-5:00pm on Friday.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
* Previous media production experience * Experience producing synchronous and asynchronous course material * Be well versed in the following software/hardware systems: Panopto lecture capture system, Zoom Meetings, NCast encoding systems, DataVideo switchers, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite 2016, PTZOptics camera control software
Education or training beyond high school in a communication or information technology field may be substituted for experience.
