- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Ensure conference rooms are presentable
- Refresh the coffee/beverage areas daily for theA kitchen on the 5th floor.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Schedule conference rooms reservations and update calendars accordingly
- Assist with conference room technology and presentation systems
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Respond to all corporate emails from our corporate website or delegate to the correct individuals.
- Monitor a multi-line telephone system
QualificationsWhat You Need For Success: - Position requires 1-2 years in a customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, (Bilingual is a plus) including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Must be organized and dependable.
- Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications preferred (i.e. Yardi).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
- Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances.
- Must be able to deal with a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday during regular hours.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (valid license required).
- Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
- May require use of personal or company vehicle.
