Director, Health Systems Strategy

The Director, Health Systems Strategy serves as the lead representative of the Alzheimer’s Association in its work with some of the largest and most complex health care organizations in the United States. They lead engagement with organizations such as large health care delivery systems, payers, and national associations to achieve strategic objectives of the Association, particularly improving access to timely diagnosis and quality care for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. This senior account management position works collaboratively across departments to increase early detection, diagnosis, disclosure and care planning and management for individuals living with dementia and their families. Primary areas of responsibility include managing health care organization accounts, cultivating relationships, assessing needs and opportunities to improve diagnosis and care practices, advising accounts on the adoption of evidence-based care models, coaching on quality improvement, and monitoring and analyzing data to achieve outcomes. This position requires a self-starter with a strong background in health care quality improvement and extensive knowledge of the health care industry. In addition, this position requires a self-starter who can develop new relationships and initiatives that create strategic value for the Association and the accounts. This position can be based in any major city in the lower states of the U.S. with frequent travel throughout assigned area and reports to the Sr. Director, Health Systems.
