UWMC Patient Relations has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Relations Representative, UWMC-Northwest Campus. You will serve as the leader for the UWMC-Northwest campus, and have sole programmatic responsibility for the Patient Relations Program on this campus. The Patient Relations Representative has the primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with interpretive guidelines for Medicare and Medicaid Conditions of Participation and all other regulatory requirements applicable to Service Recovery and responses to patient complaints and grievances. The UWMC-Northwest role is a key resource to hospital managers, physician and staff who seek to ensure a positive patient experience and an appropriate response to patient complaints. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Patient Relations, UWMC-Montlake & UWMC-Northwest.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other related field AND at least six (6) years of experience in clinical or healthcare related field to include program operations, service recovery, and complaint/conflict management. Master's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
