This position is eligible for a $20,000 or $15,000 Sign On Bonus!

Registered Nurses with at least two years of Critical Care RN experience are eligible to receive a $20,000 or $15,000 sign on bonus. Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also receive up to $20,000 or $15,000 in reimbursable relocation expenses. Your Critical Care RN experience must be within the same specialty area you are hired into . Those entering fellowship programs are not eligible. Accepting the bonus requires a commitment of three or two years.

The PICU at Inova Children's Hospital is the only one of its kind in Northern Virginia. It has 26-beds, all-private, including an 8-bed CVICU, each extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) capable. Our multi-specialty level unit provides advanced technology and intensive care for critically ill and injured patients from birth to age 18. The unit has earned recognition for the care given to our region's most fragile children, including the AACCN Beacon Gold Award for Pediatric Critical Care Excellence.

We are looking for an experienced PICU RN (at least 2 yrs) for an RN Unit Supervisor role for a night shift.

Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit; embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools.

Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes Role model who leads by example in delivering Service Always and in making Patient Experience a priority on unit(s) of responsibility. Seeks every opportunity to meet the unique needs of each person we are privileged to serve-every time, every touch.

Ensures that care is patient-centered Continually pursues activities that will ensure smooth clinical operations/flow and compliance with Inova's goals of providing safe, equitable, patient-centered, timely, efficient and effective care in a holistic and evidence-based practice environment. Values and promotes collegial working relationships within and among disciplines.

Engaged team member who is empowered to support our People priority by providing genuine acts of caring, appreciation, recognition, coaching, mentoring and encouragement to all members of the care team in order to further enculturate Inova's Care Delivery Model and results for all of Inova's strategic priorities.
