The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is seeking candidates for the role of Research Assistant. The Belfer Center is the hub for Harvard University's research, teaching, and training in international security affairs. In 2019, it was ranked the world's #1 university-affiliated think-tank for the sixth year in a row.
Research Assistants support Graham Allison, the Douglas Dillon Professor of Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, in conducting in-depth research on current international security issues relating to the US and China. The Assistant works closely with other members of a small research team and plays a key role in Dr. Allison's current research project on America's policy toward China.

Bachelor's Degree required
At least one year of related work experience is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of various research methods and statistical techniques. Relevant coursework may count toward experience.
Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of, and interest in, current international security issues relating to the US and China, and Chinese domestic politics and economics;
A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Exceptional writing skills; basic quantitative proficiency; and a demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
