Summary of Duties: Updating, managing and developing solutions for the WSU Tri-Cities WordPress web platform. This will involve monitoring departmental web pages and updating them with approved and website accessible content, designing and refining web pages to support the overall goals and mission of WSU Tri-Cities, creating written content to support the overall goals of departmental web pages, and training WSU staff on how to update and utilize the WSU Tri-Cities WordPress platform. As part of the position, the web coordinator will also lead the web governance committee for WSU Tri-Cities, which oversees overall website productivity and management, and ensure that all is consistent with WSU Tri-Cities brand, mission and goals.
The web coordinator is a key member of the Universities Marketing & Communications team and the Campus Community Engagement & Advancement team.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in information science or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
