Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $60,000 -65,000
The Work Control Manager is a UUP professional position reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The incumbent will supervise the Customer Service, Warehouse, and Receiving functions for Physical Facilities. The incumbent's duties will include:
Ensuring that data for critical assets are collected and entered into Maximo
Review existing asset data for accuracy; make changes as appropriate
Work with all PF supervisory staff to create realistic preventative maintenance tasks and schedules
Track all work on major assets to assist in establishing lifetime cost of operation
The incumbent will assist in establishing routines for all work to ensure full compliance with regulatory maintenance, testing, and inspections of assets and equipment. Ensures all work is in compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position updates the work management database with new equipment, work routines, schedules, and safety instructions as required.
This requires travel to all main and off campus locations. The successful candidate will:

This position will be designated as a critical employee.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, a technical discipline, management, or a related field
Minimum three years supervisory or management experience
Minimum five years' experience in a facilities systems environment
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings
Valid/clean driver's license to operate a motor vehicle
Personal computer literacy
High level of computer proficiency in a variety of software programs including CMMS and spreadsheet applications
Experience in a large organization with multiple buildings
Experience with scheduling software
Experience in a higher education setting
