The University of Missouri - St. Louis Department of Education Sciences and Professional Programs in the College of Education invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor of Sport Management beginning August 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a newly created Bachelor of Science in Sport Management Program. The interdisciplinary nature of the degree provides opportunities for collaboration with faculty from across the university. This is a benefits-eligible, full-time, non-tenure-track, nine-month position with an anticipated start for the 2020-2021 academic year (August 2020). Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience..
Responsibilities include excellence in teaching, development and supervision of internships, student advisement, and other university/professional service.
A completed doctorate in Sport Management or a closely related field by August 10, 2020 is required.
Though the area of specialty within Sport Management is open, preference will be given to graduates of COSMA accredited programs who have had prior Sport Management teaching and/or professional experience.
