POSITION DUTIES Domestic & International Recruitment Travel domestically and internationally as directed to recruit qualified students. Cultivate relationship with existing partners and identify new potential partners through U.S. focused recruitment channels such as EducationUSA advisors, school counselors, faculty members, agents and government organization. Provide excellent and timely customer service to prospective students at all stages in the admissions process (i.e., inquiry to enrollment). Grow, manage, and maintain a student database of potential students; complete with communication strategy to work with students from inquiry through enrollment. Plan, promote, and facilitate the Partner-in-Education (PIE) networking event for local agents and school counselors. Keep ADIR informed of overall recruitment progress on a regular basis. Organize and facilitate Familiarization (FAM) tour requests from individuals and partners. Daily Operations & Research Advise prospective students through telephone, email, online meeting, and in-person. Assist the ADIR in development of an impactful and sustainable international recruitment plan. Analyze marketing and recruitment data with the objective of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing strategies. Plan and facilitate routine information sessions and develop a recorded session for website. Maintain an accurate agency database. Stay abreast of BC's programs and services, current events, immigration updates, local, national and international trends that affect international student enrollment. Participate in task forces, hiring committee, training or other committees to promote IE's mission and goals as needed. Marketing & Communication Assist with the IE website design and update contents. Help with designing online and printed marketing materials. Conceptualize, craft scripts, select models, shoot, edit and upload short videos and routinely add new videos following the College's guidelines. Train Global Leaders and volunteers to connect with prospective and new students. Design, interview, write articles and provide visual imagery for the quarterly PIE newsletter. Identify needs and develop training resources for partners to accurately represent the College to prospective students and set-up on-demand online training sessions. Act as the portal of agents/partners' services, outreach agents/partners to keep active interaction with agents/partners. Assist in reception of partner schools/agents' campus visit. Daily monitoring and updates on IE social media. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; relevant years of experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis. One year experience working in a higher education setting, preferably at a two-year college in admissions, advising or outreach. Experience working in a collaborative team environment with diverse employees and student/customer groups, especially with population English is not their first language.
POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: One year experience in writing reports, articles, ads and conducting presentations in a business setting. Proficient in MS Office and experience managing social media accounts Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods of time on a short notice. Ability to read, speak, and write in another language in addition to English Working knowledge of Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) and F-1 and J-1 visa regulations. Flexibility of schedule and willingness to work select evenings and/or weekends. This position is to act as the Designated School Official (DSO) and/or Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) when needed. For that purpose, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the U.S. Department of State require these positions be served by a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience in student recruitment, marketing, especial recruitment travels, preferably international student recruitment in a higher education setting in the US. Experience in web design with understanding of content management systems, Search Engine Optimization principles and international web protocols. Completion of F-1 Student Advising for Beginners through NAFSA. Understanding of other countries' educational systems and trends. Working knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS and A Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP), and Washington State's College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRs). Experience in CRM and students management system such as Terra Dotta. Experience living, working, or studying abroad.
