The CIO will provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the information technology (IT) program. Establish the strategic direction of the Institute's information technology resources. This role is a key thought partner to campus leadership on the future of technology and is responsible for ensuring an agile and forward focused approach. Provide support to information users and determine information needs throughout the Institute. Identify changes in computer and systems technology, systems software and hardware necessary for the successful integration of information systems. Coordinate, facilitate, and consult with various departments on information systems, communications, and other initiatives. Lead, develop, and execute an institution-wide technology strategic business plan that supports the goals of the Institute.

Ability to develop and execute an IT organizational model to deliver effective and efficient services to customers. Develop a culture that anticipates how best technology can be used and incorporated to meet the needs of present and future students, faculty, and staff and create an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
