Under general direction, administers storm water construction site runoff, illicit discharge and storm water management facility inspection programs for the City’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4).
Associate degree from an educational institution accredited by a DOE recognized accreditation body plus two years of experience coordinating NPDES MS4 compliance activities or in a related field required. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification as an Iowa Certified Construction Site Pollution Prevention Inspector (ICCSPPI), or the ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment. Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass criminal background check.
Bachelor’s degree from an educational institution accredited by a DOE recognized accreditation body Graduation in science, engineering or related field and experience with NPDES MS4 compliance preferred. Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC) or other related certification(s) preferred.
