The Montefiore Medical Group – School Health Program offers high-quality medical, mental health, dental, vision, and community health services at 31 school-based health centers in the Bronx, NY. Our program is currently in a rapid growth mode, and to meet this need, we are interviewing licensed social workers (LMSW /LCSW) to be part of our comprehensive health care teams.
Social Work Positions
Social work candidates should be adept at working in an environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork to ensure the seamless delivery of integrated, quality care. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as a desire to work in a mission-driven program that strives to make a positive community impact. Specific responsibilities include mental health consultation, clinical intakes, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, parent/teacher collateral work, and school/parent presentations.
Positions are full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm, with excellent benefits and summers off (July and August). Salary and benefits are highly competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
NYS license and minimum of two years of experience preferred providing therapy to children and/or adolescents, as well as demonstrated experience using evidence-based treatment models.
Bilingual Spanish is required.
