The Viterbi School of Engineering Structures and Materials Research Lab in the Sonny Astani department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee projects and personnel under direction of the faculty primary investigator, the position will support the research goals of the lab. Â The core job duties include:
- Management of Instructional and Research facilities, including training, equipment maintenance, testing and data acquisition.
- Administrative responsibilities include writing proposals, organizing industry events, manage lab budget and maintaining current lab safety manuals.
- Responsible for Health, Safety and Security compliance with university and government safety and security rules and regulations.
- Supervise lab staff and student workers.
